I cannot say anything bad about this beach. The places looks completely like haven, however, as it's so beautiful, it is really complicated to find somewhere to chill. On most days, the beach is completely crowded but the water is really clean.
The locals made it private and now we can't enter. Don't go there. We walked 45 minutes FOR NOTHING.
Don't waste your time, they've closed the entrance (private propriety) and there's no other way to get there. A great disappointment after a 40 min walk in the heat.
Tested on September 9th 2021: the access is indicated as "temporarily closed", with a huge iron door. Impossible to bypass, and it seems there is an issue on the track some meters after the door, it might explain why it's blocked.
No way to reach the baia, unfortunately.
In any case, it seems difficult to find a parking plot there
It was very empty place. The road to arrive there to long from Palermo
All Access private and it was closed. Area full of rubbish. Look somewhere else

The "French beach" is located under the Mongerbino coast road and to find parking you must come either in the morning or late afternoon if it is a high season weekend. You enter via a (private) and not clearly visible gate and then continue down a well-maintained descent of steps. Eventually you will arrive at the small beach and you can find a place on the boulders. Clearly there is no establishment and the area is very spartan but this is precisely its beauty. The water is particularly clear and the colors are fantastic, there are lots of fish and you will get lost admiring the cliff above you. Another peculiarity is the sun which, unlike other beaches, sets in front at 8 pm. I recommend it for all nature lovers who are willing to work a little to have a fantastic sea.

There is always a couple on site selling fresh drinks and chips; furthermore (most important job) they take care of keeping the WHOLE beach in excellent condition by offering rubbish bags and ashtrays for smokers! Having people like this on every beach!
